I've been reading descriptions of your classes - they sound really interesting. About the visa - what a bummer - maybe as the earlier commenter said you could go later ? Fabric in India is beautiful, and there's so much variety in color, texture, pattern, embroidery and dying technique - baaatik, block printing etc. - you actually would love it.
Shelbs, No passport yet? When do you plan to get one for London? I would give yourself plenty of time. I love reading your blog and hearing what you are up to. I remember having great frustration with German 201/202 at times, but somehow I survived and became the interesting, well rounded person that I am. You will too, because you already are! We miss you lots and hope to see you in November. I still laugh every time I think about our run to the dump in Big Blue (aka Henry), and, I will never eat another Oreo Cakester without thinking of you. Hope your weekend is great! Hugs from all!
