A'ight, well the oh so even year of 2010 is come and gone, and with it my hope for easy anniversary math. I figured in about 2009 that 2010 would probably be the best year for me to get married since I hate math and 10 is a very good looking, easy number. I didn't even get close to getting married in 2010. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying my chance at super easy math is gone.
2011 promises to be a great, albeit not entirely planned year. The most predictable part about 2011 will be my graduating in April with my BA in Theatre Arts Studies, emphasis in costume design. Other than that I'm planning on working the seasons at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, then who knows! Hopefully I can get an offer from some of the conferences and festivals I'll go to this year. Anyway, I'm leaving BYU forever so I've come up with some "Before I leave the safety, warmth and comfort of the bubble" resolutions. They follow:
-hike the Y at night (only hiked it during the day once...)
-visit the filming locals for the movie "The Sandlot" in Salt Lake, Midvale and Ogden
-go hot springing
-go hiking!!! (I've completely neglected nature for the past four years)
-go inside EVERY building of the BYU campus
AND (mostly for my own sanity)...
-eat lunch outside the HFAC w/ someone else at least twice a week.
That's all I'm really dying to do, but if you know of anything else I MUST resolve to do before I leave, let me know! And if you want to help me accomplish any of these goals give me a call.
